- Demonstrate general understanding of Applied, agency management system, or comparable agency/carrier management system.
- Demonstrated ability to instill confidence with clients so that client looks to you and to as more than just an insurance broker, but as a partner in business.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications.
- Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet applications and formula calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize on-line systems to facilitate the processing of personal insurance accounts.
- Advanced understanding of general insurance accounting, including client invoicing.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with Associates at all levels of responsibility.
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with carriers to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated presentation skills, including preparation and execution.
- Wholly understands the concept, issues, and overall impact of the personal insurance marketplace.
- Strong understanding of personal insurance risk management concepts and when they are useful to clients.
- Ability to make decisions in compliance with established standards of quality performance and service.
- Personal presence to interface with top management of other businesses, representing in the highest professional manner.
- Willingness and ability to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the personal insurance industry by successful completion of extended classes and workshops related to insurance.
- 5+ Years experience working as an Account Executive, Sales & Risk Consultant or a Personal Lines producer, with Personal Lines (High Net Worth Clients)
- Bachelors degree in related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Ability to execute oral and written instructions
- Ability to work independently to organize and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
