- Define and implement design quality strategy, including project-specific quality targets and milestones.
- Conduct FMEAs and risk analyses, determine release criteria, and coordinate initial sample inspections (e.g., APQP/PPAP).
- Ensure correct use of quality tools (e.g., FMEA, control plans, GD&T); perform audits and reviews of development processes including hardware, software, and mechanical design.
- Lead root cause investigations, implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and escalate quality issues when needed.
- Define test items with customers, coordinate inspections, support audits, and ensure supplier and customer quality alignment.
- Prepare quality status reports, monitor audits, initiate process optimizations, and support rollout of new global standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics or similar)
- 3+ years of experience regulating automotive quality or product development activities
- Minimum of 2 complete products design cycles
- Strong command of core quality tools and methods (Including Control Plans, FMEAs, GD&T, measurement techniques, and communication skills)
- Ability to work in a dynamic international environment.
- Experience with body controls, hardware electronics, and the aspice are preferred but not required
