- Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the site leadership team to identify chances for enhancing the business.
- Site Engagement: Champion an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve critical metrics in the areas of customer, finance, people, and quality.
- Developing Talent: Provide support to develop lean expertise and capability within the organization at all levels.
- PPI Business System: Provide ongoing Lean support to multiple teams. Work with the expanded team to develop/promote/standardize the Business System further.
- PPI Steering Committee: Focus on enhancing opportunities and crafting a plan for site deployment. Collaborate with functional teams to streamline processes, improving customer experience, driving profitable growth, and boosting efficiency.
- Daily Tiered Management: Improve the decision-making model and problem-solving capabilities within teams to increase autonomy and the pace of change.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, operations, business, or related field required, or equivalent experience.
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- 7+ years of Lean leadership expertise with extensive experience implementing successful continuous improvement-based business systems including elements such as:
- Lean Management System
- Strategy Deployment and Value-Stream Mapping
- Kaizen events on standard work, cell design, process and product 3P, Value-Analysis/Value Engineering, error-proofing, material flow, Heijunka, and Kanban.
- Prior experience in people management experience.
- Expertise in problem-solving applying a formal program/process.
- Strong experience developing, training, and coaching teams.
- Evidence of identifying and delivering year-over-year results.
- Broad knowledge of multi-functional, multi-site, global processes, and financial business methods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with and positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization.
- Able to drive critical thinking and continuous improvement in both non-operational and operational areas, including connecting the cross-functional resources to remove waste along the extended value streams.
- Ability to travel 10-25%
