This role will develop lean expertise across all levels and support multiple teams in standardizing our Business System. As part of the PPI Steering Committee, you'll streamline processes, improve customer experience, drive profitable growth, and boost efficiency.A Day in the life
  • Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the site leadership team to identify chances for enhancing the business.
  • Site Engagement: Champion an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve critical metrics in the areas of customer, finance, people, and quality.
  • Developing Talent: Provide support to develop lean expertise and capability within the organization at all levels.
  • PPI Business System: Provide ongoing Lean support to multiple teams. Work with the expanded team to develop/promote/standardize the Business System further.
  • PPI Steering Committee: Focus on enhancing opportunities and crafting a plan for site deployment. Collaborate with functional teams to streamline processes, improving customer experience, driving profitable growth, and boosting efficiency.
  • Daily Tiered Management: Improve the decision-making model and problem-solving capabilities within teams to increase autonomy and the pace of change.
Keys to SuccessEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, operations, business, or related field required, or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • 7+ years of Lean leadership expertise with extensive experience implementing successful continuous improvement-based business systems including elements such as:
  • Lean Management System
  • Strategy Deployment and Value-Stream Mapping
  • Kaizen events on standard work, cell design, process and product 3P, Value-Analysis/Value Engineering, error-proofing, material flow, Heijunka, and Kanban.
  • Prior experience in people management experience.
  • Expertise in problem-solving applying a formal program/process.
  • Strong experience developing, training, and coaching teams.
  • Evidence of identifying and delivering year-over-year results.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Broad knowledge of multi-functional, multi-site, global processes, and financial business methods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with and positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization.
  • Able to drive critical thinking and continuous improvement in both non-operational and operational areas, including connecting the cross-functional resources to remove waste along the extended value streams.
  • Ability to travel 10-25%
