The IR Nurse provides nursing care to the cardiac patient while assisting in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.What you will do:
  • Prepare patients for procedures.
  • Provide education to patients and family members
  • Administer medication
  • Circulate and Scrub as needed
QualificationsMinimum Requirements for RN II Interventional Radiology:
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • One (1) or more years of experience
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license active in the Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Expereince:
  • Procedural or ICU expereince desired
