- Create a team of capable and qualified installers who are motivated to adhere to all company policy and practices.
- Hire, fire, and train crews.
- Develop and maintain installation standards.
- Maintain an inventory control system.
- Ensure that inventory is housed in an organized, documented, and controlled manner.
- Standardize seasonal inventory quantities and ensure that levels are maintained.
- Create a quality conscious work environment.
- Create quality control standards for the entirety of the ornamental metal fabrication and installation groups.
- Ensure the implementation of quality standards via spot inspections, site visits, and customer communication.
- Opening and closing of the business daily.
- Ensure that the facility is safe and secure. Respond to security system alarm.
- Maintain a neat and clean building via yard personnel (lawn cleaned and mowed, snow plowed, paint, etc.)
- Develop and document the building layout, including the electrical / fuse layout, water lines, etc.
- Create and implement a preventative maintenance plan.
- Generate a coded list of all trucks, tools, and equipment, ensuring that each item is properly identified and tagged.
- Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program.
- Oversee the Mechanic’s daily activities.
- Manage all projects from inception through completion while ensuring client satisfaction and company profitability.

- Scheduling
- Ensure that no underground utilities are damaged by our digging activities.
- Improve existing health and safety programs.
- Provide safety-related training.
- Ensure OSHA / MIOSHA compliance.
- Human resource management of the installers, mechanic, yard personnel, and ornamental metal fabrication employees.
- In conjunction with Executive Management, develop, create, and implement corporate and division specific policy and procedures.
- Create a winning team that helps drive and improve customer satisfaction.
- Aid in the creation of all budgets and forecasts.
- Review budgets with CEO, determine reasons for variances, and develop and implement corrective action plans.
- Limit and mitigate financial exposure.
