Job Description:Work Schedule:This is a part-time, FTE .80, 1st shift position. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, each week of pay period. Shift starts vary between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., and shift end times vary between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Hours may vary based on department needs.Pay:
  • External hires may be eligible for up to a $2,400 sign on bonus.

  • Perform and verify patient testing, proficiency testing and QC. Troubleshoot when necessary as a scientist.
  • Demonstrate decision-making skills, ability to work independently, and the ability to take on teaching/training responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform phlebotomy, process specimens for testing/transport, provide patient instructions and answer provider questions as needed.
Education:Minimum - Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology. OR education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include 60 semester hours including either:
  • 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or
  • 24 semester hours of science courses
