If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we encourage you to apply for our open positions and become a part of our team.This is a Full-Time position for a Graphics Prepress Technician at our facility in Clayton, NCWhat You’ll DoAnalyzes customer files for fonts, images, integrity, printability and potential issues.Prepares files for proofing and printing in the areas of label (flexo), printed literature and carton (offset).Requires high level of quality and accuracy with attention to detail.Must follow SOP’s and standards in compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. Proofs jobs in final approval stage for content, distortion, and traps.What You’ll BringMust have minimum of five years’ experience in graphic arts/printing industry.Must have hands on knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) ESKO Art Pro a plus.Packaging experience a plus.Knowledge of ESKO Automation Engine a plus. Must be reliable and dependable.Must be willing to work overtime as needed.What You Have DoneAbility to think and act independently.Must be able to evaluate structural drawings.Ability to read and understand customer specifications and drawings. Must be aware of, and responsive to, time constraints.Should possess a broad understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices as they relate to pharmaceutical printed components.Strong verbal and written communications skills. Work effectively with all levels of the organization. Good computer skills, knowledge of MS officeLevel of ResponsibilityThis position is responsible for providing high quality print ready files ready for press. Must have high end graphics knowledge and ability to troubleshoot graphics/printing issues as they arise.
