We strive to provide a collaborative, creative environment where each person feels encouraged to contribute to our processes, decisions, planning and culture.Job PurposeAs the Payroll & Reporting Analyst, you will oversee our union and non-union payroll and employee benefits programs, while also contributing to broader HR operations, analytics, and strategic initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a best-in-class employee experience. You will have a strong background in payroll processing, benefits administration, and 401(k) plan compliance, and will serve as a go-to resource for employees across the organization.This is a dynamic position for a hands-on professional who is passionate about HR, eager to grow, and ready to take on responsibilities that impact the organization across various levels.Accountabilities & Responsibilities:Payroll & Benefits Administration
*Lead end-to-end payroll processing across union and non-union, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance (federal, state, local).
*Ensure accurate payroll tax filings, garnishments, benefits deductions, bonuses, and shift differentials.
*Manage payroll audits, W-2 processing, year-end reporting, and reconciliation with Finance.
*Reconcile payroll data and validate reports pre- and post-processing.
*Handle life events (new hires, terminations, life changes), billing reconciliation, and vendor liaison
*Oversee 401(k) administration: enrolments, contributions, compliance testing, and filings (e.g., Form 5500)
- ·Serve as the first point of contact for payroll and compliance-related inquiries.
*Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure clean, compliant processes.
*Support employee onboarding and offboarding from a payroll standpoint.
*Assist with audits, internal controls, and process improvements across HR operations.
*Take on special projects related to HR reporting, data analytics, and workforce insights, helping to inform business decisions and improve employee experience.Compliance & Process Improvement
*Ensure compliance with SOX, FLSA, and relevant federal and Texas-specific wage laws.
*Maintain payroll and HRIS documentation, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
*Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal on audits, compliance reviews, and confidential investigations.
*Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Job Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceSpecify the educational background, qualifications and experience that would typically be required to fully and effectively perform this job.Key qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in payroll processing and HRIS systems administration.
*Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and labor law compliance.
*Proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools.Preferred:
*Experience with HRIS Systems
