Your daily activities will be driven by the needs of the team, so no two days are the same, but the partial list below provides responsibilities and focus areas. Some of your important responsibilities include:Employee Development & Training:
- Design and enact customized, comprehensive training/mentorship programs. This will include identifying needs, coordinating development opportunities, and facilitating follow-through to create a highly skilled and flexible workforce and management team.
- Create company policy and procedure changes based on workforce needs and implement those changes in respective departments.
- Assimilate new employees to Great Lakes Roofing and the department team by conducting on-boarding, orientations and career pathing.
- Partner with departments to identify staffing needs based on capacity planning
- Full-cycle recruitment; includes sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, & extending offers
- Assist managers in high quality hiring decisions based on job qualifications and according to Great Lakes Roofing’s mission and vision.
- Maintain HRIS with accurate data
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of required paperwork and pre-employment testing
- Recruiting: Build relationships with high schools, technical colleges and/or universities to ensure a long-term strategic pipeline of talent.
- Reviews: Ensure employees are receiving necessary feedback to maximize department performance through the administration of 60-day, 6 month, and annual reviews. Provide coaching to managers and supervisors on effective forms of feedback.
- Pay Analysis: Recommend salary changes based on market data, employee performance and experience. Ensuring compensation is aligned with external market and internal equity.
