What We Offer * Health insurance * Life insurance * Aflac insurance * 401K with company match * Paid time off * Community involvement Responsibilities * Builds productive working relationships; consults with others as necessary. * Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening. * Maintains positive, professional working relationships with Ford representatives. * Promotes cooperation and teamwork through actions. * Prioritizes work to ensure all deadlines are met. * Recommends improvements for the department. * Uses computer and other record keeping systems to manage information. * Maintains an organized and professional environment. * Provides technical information and assistance to employees as needed. * Checks in all incoming orders – confirms and receipts. * Pulls and fills orders from stock. * Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. * Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits and emergency order, if necessary. * Notifies the service advisor when special ordered parts have been received. * Pulls orders for delivery, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names. * Follows up on back-ordered parts. * Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or * required. * Keeps orderly records of all special-order parts. * Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. * Keeps rear counter areas clean and uncluttered. * Participates in all training programs that are made available. * Keeps current on new products and product updates. * Maintains professional appearance and wears the suggested Fremont Motor Companies attire. * Maintains freight accounts – in and out Qualifications * Prefer previous experience in sales and parts. Preference may be given for an understanding of the automotive field. * Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. * Must have interpersonal skills and strong organization skills * Must be able to withstand the stresses and demands of an active position. * The individual must also have a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under Fremont’s insurance plan.
