- Provide Hands-On Care: Assist individuals with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, and transportation, all while fostering independence.
- Support Mental Health & Behavioral Management: Utilize your skills to help individuals overcome behavioral challenges, offering compassionate, person-centered care. Work on tailored outcomes for individuals and work with behavioral guidance plans as needed.
- Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment: Maintain a clean, safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach their personal goals.
- Mentor & Guide: Provide supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals achieve their aspirations. Assist with staff scheduling, maintain consisistency in programming, individual care, and communication with staff and support team members.
- Household Management: Coordinate a variety of services including individual finances, activities, program services, family involvement, educational/vocational programs, health care/nutrition and household management.
- At least 3 years of experience in delivery of significant behavioral health services. Must be able to demonstrate de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, positive support methods and person-centered approach.
- At least 1 year of lead staff experience in residential services or a two-year degree in a related field.
- Need the ability to understand and implement behavior support plans (BSP), treatment plans, functional assessments, individualized support plans (ISP), and person-centered plans.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Passion for Helping Others: Experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety)
- Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
