Our busy facility in Fife, WA is expanding, and were looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team. We specialize in supplying top-quality metals to the aerospace sector and other critical industries where precision and strength matter.What You'll Do: As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for cutting metal materialsmainly steel and titaniuminto specific sizes according to customer orders. You'll start each job by setting up the industrial saw and adjusting the machine settings based on the required measurements. Once the saw is ready, you'll operate it carefully, keeping a close eye on the process to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. After the materials are cut, youll use measuring tools like tape measures or calipers to check that the pieces are accurate and meet quality standards. Part of your role will also include helping to package and move the finished materials to the next stage, often using forklifts or carts. Finally, you'll complete basic paperwork for each job to keep everything organized and properly documented. This is a hands-on, physical role thats ideal for someone who enjoys working with machines, pays attention to detail, and is eager to learnWhat You'll Need: Youll be a great fit for this role if you have at least a year of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, as this background helps you understand the pace and safety expectations of a busy shop environment. Being comfortable using a tape measure accurately is essential, since precise measurements are a key part of the job. If youre someone with strong mechanical aptitudemeaning you enjoy working with machines, tools, and figuring out how things workyoull likely pick up the technical aspects quickly.
