Job SummaryThe Environmental Quality Management Division is seeking a Hazardous Materials Compliance Manager to develop, implement, and manage programs to comply with regulations pertaining to the procedures required for such materials.Specifically, the manager will:
- Have oversight of three programs, ensuring compliance and proper documentation is submitted to federal, state, or local agencies
- Manage hazardous building material assessments and abatement projects during renovations and demolitions projects
- Program management of Environmental Site Assessments to evaluate potential environmental risks associated with real estate property transactions
- Manage underground and above ground storage tanks requirements, including oversight of the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures plan as well as registration, removal and potential site remediation of UST's

Preferred Education/ExperiencePrefer Masters Degree with major coursework in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, physical sciences or a field related to the work.Driver's license preferred.
