- Acting as Mission Director for KSAT USA Satellite operations programs,
- Supporting mission proposals and development of new contracts,
- Coordinating DSOC activities and allocation of DSOC resources,
- Performing as Team Lead for the US Satellite Operations Team,
- Recruiting and management of Satellite Ground System Engineers,
- Leading coordination with TSOC,
- Filling as needed day-to-day roles including On-console operations, product design and development, as needed,
- Aligning US Satellite Operations product with KSAT vision and goals.
- Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in space industry
- 5+ years space operations experience
- 3+ years in leadership and/or management role
- 3+ years of demonstrated systems engineering experience with process tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Previous experience designing, developing, and implementing Satellite ground C2 systems
- Strong customer focus
- Preferred
- Master's in Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Previous Mission Director or Lead Satellite Operations experience
- Travel is estimated at 10%
- Travel may be necessary to customer sites in the United States
- Travel will be necessary to Tromsø, Norway 2-3 times per year
- Travel to other global locations may be required on a case-by-case basis
