Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Tax Analyst to join our global tax team. This role is ideal for a tax professional with 5-10 years of experience in U.S. and Canada tax compliance, particularly within a multinational or consulting environment. You will play a key role in supporting our U.S. and Canada tax compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate filings, and assisting with tax planning, provision, and audit support. You will report to the Global Americas Senior Tax Manager.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and review U.S. federal and state income tax returns, including Forms 1120, 5471, 8858, and 8865, as well as estimated tax paymentsPrepare and review Canada federal and provincial income tax returns and estimatesAssist with annual tax provision calculations under IAS 12
Support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transaction reportingPrepare and review U.S. indirect tax filings, including sales & use and Chicago lease transaction taxPrepare and review Canada indirect tax filings (e.g., GST/HST, QST)Maintain and reconcile tax accounts and ensure compliance with internal controlsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and coordinate with external advisors for compliance and reportingMonitor U.S. tax legislation and assess its implications on the companyAssist with federal, state, and local tax audits, including responding to inquiries and data requestsSupport process improvement and automation initiatives (experience with Alteryx is a plus)Who you areAfter nearly 100 years, we know this business is fundamentally about making connections-between facts, figures, insights, strategies, tools, technologies, and above all, people. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
