Regional HSE Director – Commercial ConstructionSeattle, WAJoin a prominent, 100% employee-owned, multi-billion-dollar general contractor in the Seattle area as a Regional HSE Director. This strategic leader will oversee health, safety, and environmental programs across the Pacific Northwest, driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and implementing best-in-class practices to protect employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders.The Regional HSE Director will partner with executive leadership, project teams, and subcontractors to deliver safe, efficient projects, while maintaining a strong field presence to ensure consistent application of policies and continuous improvement in safety performance.   • Develop and ensure safe equipment operating techniques.
  • Plan, lead and participate in job site safety meetings.
  • Follow up with subcontractor representatives to ensure proper disciplinary procedures.
  • Implement, inspect and maintain job site and office MSDS manuals. Train employees in MSDS procedures.
  • Review and revise SOP’s and Standards to ensure consistency with HSE MS and compliance with site-specific regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the development and/or review of Group Risk Assessments and development of Project Specific Safety Plans (PSSP)
  • Provide field presence and project support with coaching
  • Conduct periodic safety inspections on all job sites to ensure safety procedures are in place.
  • Record and compile data, update logs, monitor equipment and schedule maintenance.
  • Update and maintain company disaster plan.
  • Perform and oversee investigation of accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions to include interfacing with workers’ compensation claims.
  • Provide ongoing training to branch office and project sites as required
Regional HSE Director Qualifications:
  • 10+ years’ experience in safety & health program management.
  • 5 years’ experience in construction safety.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DOSH, ANSI, NFPA, EPA and Workers Compensation regulations
  • Post secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education, trade certification or training and work experience
  • CRSP/CSP/CSO/NCSO/NEBOSH or equivalent is desired.
  • Sound/ethical judgment, strong leadership skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified.

Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 + Profit Sharing
