- Conduct comprehensive assessments of wounds to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Monitor wound progression, document changes, and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Collaborate with wound care specialists and physicians to optimize treatment strategies.
- Administer appropriate treatments, dressings, and therapeutic interventions for various wound types.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure effective wound management.
- Provide clear instructions and support to ensure adherence to wound care protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound assessments, treatment plans, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Stay current with the latest wound care techniques and treatments by participating in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities.
- Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing
- Current Kansas LPN license
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.
