Follow @abbvie on , , , , and .Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst supports the ongoing financial forecasting and develops financial models to support decision making related to business issues (e.g. New product development analysis, product portfolio analysis, expense/investment analysis, profitability of new opportunities, impacts of regulatory changes, capital analysis, revenue models and profit margin analysis). Responsible for managing inventory items and inventory operations. Looking for candidates local to Waco, TX.Responsibilities
  • Provides financial support to the Drug Manufacturing and Packaging Unit Managers.
  • Supports annual manufacturing cost development cycle.
  • Develops cost estimates for new products, product extensions and new business opportunities.
  • Supports project initiatives and accounting for new cost improvement initiatives.
  • Prepares/develops accurate financial forecasts (LRP, Plan, Standards, LBE).
  • Interacts and support Business Units to ensure alignment on planning assumptions.
  • Supports the month-end financial close process.
  • Creates, updates and maintains internal consolidation files used to fulfill CADM and Corporate requirements.
  • Present financial data that is clear and concise.
  • Other various ad hoc analysis to support business strategy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accouting required.
  • Preferred 4 + years of progressive and related experience in Manufacturing Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Execute priorities established by Manager with speed and agility.
  • Strong Financial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient Excel skills required.
  • Knowledge of SAP and PowerBI a plus.
