Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for the Abington area to assist with our geriatric aged clients who are in need of support and companionship.Weekend Availability is a plus!!Available shifts: 7-DaysMornings: 3-4-hour shifts, ex. 8am-11am, 8am-12pm or 9am-1pmDays:example 9am-4pm,8am-8pm (12-hour)Overnights:Usually 12 hour shifts7pm-7am8pm-8am10pm-7amJob Description:
  • Assist with the Activities of Living, personal care
  • Assist with light housekeeping
  • Encourage walking, exercising
  • Providing stimulating conversation
  • Activities
  • Possible transportation to doctor's appointments, shopping, etc.
  • Encourage fluid intake, possible meal prep in accordance with orders/CarePlan
  • Competently documenting shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
  • Home Health Aide would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
Requirements are as follows:
  • Licensed CNA Certification
  • 2+Years experience working with your Certification
  • Must be kind, compassionate, reliable, and skilled
  • A reliable car and insured
  • Clean driving record, ability to pass a CORI check
  • CNA must be energetic and able to work a 12-hour shift
  • Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray
  • Proficient in dementia care
  • Speak, read, write the English language clearly, and effective communication skills.
  • You must own a cell phone.
