Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant, InpatientJob SummaryThe Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be working in a position primarily responsible for the care of pediatric patients with hematologic, oncologic, immunologic, or other diagnosis requiring stem cell transplant. The APP is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, consultation, and health promotion and care coordination for patients and families throughout the hospital system. Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population. OR·Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.·Previous hematology oncology or stem cell experience as a pediatric provider preferred.·New grads who completed a pediatric clinical rotation in hematology oncology or stem cell transplant or with previous nursing experience required.Licensure/Certification·Licensure as a Pediatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing. Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing.
