- Account Management: Maintain regular communication with existing clients to understand their needs, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, industry events, and cold outreach.
- Territory Management: Manage a defined geographic sales territory, identify and develop new opportunities and maximize sales potential.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Track opportunities and update CRM with accurate and timely information regarding activities, prospects, and customer interactions.
- Client Meetings & Presentations: Conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations with prospective and existing customers.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless customer experience and maximize growth opportunities.
- Market Research: Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to adapt sales strategies.
- Trade Shows & Events: Represent WheelerShip at industry trade shows, conferences, and local events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Associate’s degree (bachelor's preferred) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of proven success in outside sales, account management, or a related role
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory (company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided)
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently, while still working well as a member of team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.
- Work Schedule: Primarily Monday – Friday, business hours, with flexibility for customer needs and travel
