- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs throughout the supply chain and implement KPI’s to drive productivity.
- Oversee inventory management activities, including forecasting, planning, and replenishment, to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
- Coordinate transportation and distribution activities, warehouse, carrier selection, and freight management, to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) from Warehouse, Purchase, Forecasting, and Productivity to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational performance.
- Implement and maintain inventory and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and storage locations accurately.
- Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, feedback and support to ensure high performance and employee engagement, cross training Warehouse employees, and be prepared to give and receive feedback for improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Knowledge of Inventory Management, MRP, ERP Systems (Great Plains preferred), SLA, Quality and mitigation suggestions on risks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in real time and exercise judgment in a high-paced environment.
- Clear and organized communications skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work with a team with a different range of experience and skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
- A demonstrated ability to anticipate and proactively identify opportunities to mitigate costs and risks.
- Sound computers skills demonstrating knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
- NPI- New Product Introduction experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Quality System Standards – ISO 9001
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- US citizenship is required.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proficient in Forecast and Planning (ASCM Certification in CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain management.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
