- Perform preop inspections on all pieces of equipment and machinery prior to use.
- SKILLS - 8 OF 11 ARE REQUIRED. OF THE 8, TRUCKING AND UTILITIES ARE MANDATORY.
- Haul Truck Operation * Demonstrate the requirements to perform a proper heading inspection. - Demonstrate the ability to perform preoperational checks - Demonstrate the ability to suppress airborne dust as required. - Demonstrate the ability to receive muck in a safe and efficient manner. - Demonstrate knowledge of safe ramp travel with regards to traffic and pedestrians - Demonstrate the ability to dump muck in a safe and efficient manner

- Conveyor Operation * Demonstrate the requirements to perform a proper heading inspection. - Demonstrate the ability to perform pre operational checks - Demonstrate the ability follow the required lock-out/tag-out procedure - Demonstrate the ability to identify worn or defective components - Demonstrate knowledge of the required PPE for all aspects of the task - Demonstrate ability to monitor conveyor while in operation - Demonstrate the requirements to clear plugged chutes in a safe and efficient manner.
- Backfill mixing (Chukar only)
- Slickline * optional - Demonstrate the requirements to perform a proper workplace inspection - Demonstrate the ability to perform pre operational checks - Demonstrate the safe start up of the slickline - Demonstrate knowledge of the lock-out / tag out procedure - Demonstrates securing and proper placement of the mixer truck - Demonstrate the ability to recognize workplace hazards - Demonstrate the ability to shut down, wash out and clean up slickline safely.
