We are conducting a confidential search for a reputable international manufacturing organization seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in Columbus, OH. This is a key role supporting daily plant operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment reliability and workplace safety.️ Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant equipment.
- Ensure operational uptime through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative care.
- Support project installations, plant upgrades, and equipment relocations.
- Maintain safety and equipment compliance per operational standards.
- Use tools including welders, forklifts, and diagnostic devices.
- Technical certification (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- ️ Ability to weld (TIG/MIG/Plasma) and operate various shop tools.
- ️ Working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience operating forklifts and participating in project installations.
- Stable, full-time role with a variety of responsibilities.
