Description :The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant in training program through U.S. Career Institute is designed to provide a paid training opportunity to learn and receive on-the-job training. Students will go through an online training program to learn the information and skills required to take and successfully pass a nationally accredited Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. Upon the successful completion of the exam, the trainee will become a CCMA and will transfer to an open position within Mankato Clinic.To view more information about U.S. Career Institute:Mankato Clinic is looking for staff who will care for patients with compassion, empathy and respect to ensure our clinics are a welcoming and healing place. Medical Assistants assist our providers with patient visits, greeting, rooming and educating patients, setting up for exams and procedures, taking vital signs, and documenting symptoms.   • Based on your availability to complete the program can complete the program (days, nights, evenings, weekends).
  • Mankato Clinic will you pay $708 biweekly to complete the program.
Location
  • Remote during the time to complete the online program and onsite at Mankato clinic on Thursdays for skills training.
  • Upon completion of the program, it will be onsite in a clinical department at Mankato Clinic.
Deadline to apply: September 12, 2025.Candidates that are selected for interviews. Interviews will begin approximately the week of September 15th.​Requirements
  • Ensure you have remote access to a computer and internet access. (onsite options may be available). Independently utilize computer for daily course work.
  • Ability to complete on-demand online learning program in 8 weeks followed by a 4 week clinical rotation internship. Stay on pace with the online program's schedule, communicate any prolonged inactivity, maintain satisfactory academic performance.
  • Be onsite Thursdays during the online training for skills training and some job shadowing.
  • Provides excellent customer service and maintains a high level of care to the patients.
  • Works well with other members of the team.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Welcomes and seeks out feedback to improve performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Program start date will begin October 13th. Onboarding meeting October 8th.
Upon Successful Completion of the Program
  • Complete the CCMA certification exam through the National Healthcare Association.
  • Complete 4 week internship. Clinical rotations to learn functions of CCMA job responsibilities.
  • BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days program completion.
Employment is contingent on passing, drug screening, health assessment and background check.Benefits & Compensation:Base Pay Range:Medical Assistant $18.75-$27.15, initial pay based on relevant work experience.CCMA $20.20-$29.30, initial pay based on relevant work experience.Candidates will be eligible for benefits upon the completion of the program.Benefits & Compensation:Mankato Clinic is proud to offer our employees work/life balance.All employees scheduled 60-80 hours per pay period are eligible for full benefits.
