Description of WorkThe Maintenance Construction Mechanic III responsibilities are to manage maintenance programs and provide maintenance to the Lillington Meat Plant. The employee in this position is responsible for the supervision of 4 inmates. This position is responsible for the management of all resources related to the maintenance of these facilities. This includes the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs, parts inventory management, requisition of suitable parts for old/obsolete equipment, review of inmate's work; scheduling inmates work activities, writing/counseling inmates, and training as needed, utility operations and associated maintenance of the building.This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with .The work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm.
