Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Data Engineer to join their team. Summary: This mid-level Engineer will be working with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Engineers day in and day out and will be responsible for building the API's, automation, and transformation of data. They are expecting this person to be proficient in Java and Python, have some experience with ETL, Big Data, Spark, along with the abilities to build API's and backend development. They can be a full-on data engineer that knows some Java development, or a Java developer that has strong data/big data experience.
  • Experience with Data Engineering, ETL, Pipeline and SQL
  • Hadoop/Big Data/Spark experience
  • Expertise in Java and/or Python coding
  • GCP (any type of cloud is fine)
  • Strong communication, innovation, passionate, and wants to learn and reach new horizons
  • ML knowledge a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
