- Support the design, coordination, and implementation of American Express's enterprise BCM program, with a focus on policy development, regulatory compliance, third party risk management, training, exercising, and quality assurance.
- Lead and support governance and reporting efforts, helping to identify and implement improvements that strengthen risk management and increase program efficiency.
- Provide project management leadership for key program enhancement initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional alignment.
- Act as a strategic liaison with Business Continuity partners across the company to drive consistent execution of business objectives.
- Guide business unit partners in fulfilling their first-line responsibilities within the BCM framework, driving engagement, accountability, and adherence to standards.
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program
- Bachelor's degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Interest in enterprise risk, business continuity, cybersecurity, or regulatory compliance.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in any of the following: Risk Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration
- Robust problem-solving skills; ability to see the big picture with attention given to critical details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with financial regulatory requirements around Business Continuity and Resilience (e.g., FFIEC)
