- Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.
- Responsible for performing as a primary scrub handling instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure while applying principles of sterile technique.
- Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
- Prepare the surgical suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies
- Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
- Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instrument counts throughout the procedure.
- Decontaminate, sterilize, assemble and wrap instruments following proper standards.
- Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology Program
- High School diploma or GED
- Active BLS certification
- One year of Surgical Technology experience
- Certified through the NBSTSA or NCCT
