We demand a responsible and safe mindset that takes care of our customers, products and fellow employees.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our US-based team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for installing, tuning, and servicing our cutting-edge food sorting equipment at customer sites across North America and globally. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, problem-solving, and creating outstanding customer experiences.Key Responsibilities
  • Install new or modified equipment at customer facilities to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical tuning and setup.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and independently diagnose equipment problems.
  • Conduct customer training on system use and basic maintenance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and service on installed equipment.
  • Prepare and submit applicable field service documentation.
  • Manage assigned tools, test equipment, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed with a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Degree or certification in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in field service, system installation, or commissioning of large capital equipment.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and system setup.
  • Understanding of analog/digital circuits and electrical power systems.
  • Experience with PLC circuits and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient with test equipment (oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc.).
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and AutoCAD drawings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to work on complex, diverse technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism in customer-facing settings.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Comfortable working in food processing plants, farms, cold storage facilities, and extreme temperatures (indoor/outdoor).
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs, work in confined spaces, and frequently bend, kneel, and stand.
  • Ability to distinguish the full range of colors in the color spectrum.
  • No major food allergies that would interfere with job performance.
  • Willingness and ability to drive long distances and travel extensively (domestic and international).
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a valid passport and driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Position requires travel of around 70% of the time.
