- Design evaluation projects in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative data collection tools.
- Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data, being attentive to the context of the project and the community
- Summarize findings with attention to the intended audience (e.g., written reports, data visualization, slidedocs, presentations, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with internal/external teams and project stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and design of evaluation proposals.
- Participate in community outreach and networking.
- Actively participate in and contribute to agency and project teams.
- Keep abreast of evaluation best practices and innovations.
- Ability to effectively collect, understand, interpret, and summarize quantitative and qualitative data for the purposes of evaluation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, funders, and stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capacity for teamwork, and ability to work with diverse groups and a wide range of work styles.
- Familiarity with and commitment to evaluations that are culturally responsive and utilization-focused.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to be responsive and sensitive to consumer and stakeholder needs.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in social sciences, health sciences, or a related discipline, including extensive research-related coursework.
- Minimum of five years of related work experience with progressive responsibilities in applied research and/or evaluation, including experience serving as project lead and conducting evaluations.
- Demonstrated experience designing quality research and evaluation projects and developing surveys, qualitative data questions, and other data collection tools.
- Demonstrated experience with databases, data management, statistical software packages, and with analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Reside in the State of Wisconsin and within 50 miles of IMPACT.
