Vaco Phoenix is working with a company who is looking to add a contract payroll manager to their team for a 3-5 week contact position. This person will be responsible for full cycle payroll processing for 200+ employees. This position is paying up to $36 per hour and starting this week!
Duties and Responsibility:
  • Accurately process weekly payroll for 200+ employees, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
  • Track and update employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Review and analyze weekly time reports to ensure accuracy and identify irregularities.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures throughout payroll processes.
  • Verify account balances to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
  • Process employee changes and paid time off requests; proactively monitor timecard submissions and identify unusual trends or missing entries, asking questions when necessary.
  • Review and validate payroll transactions and journal entries to ensure proper documentation and accounting accuracy
Desired experience:
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing experience
