- Develop, test, and integrate software using C, C++, Java, and C# across embedded and system-level applications.
- Implement real-time operating systems (RTOS) solutions for mission-critical and safety-critical applications.
- Apply DevSecOps practices to enable secure, automated software development, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to support system-level design, integration, and validation.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization in complex environments.
- Support software documentation, configuration management, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Contribute to technical reviews and provide input on design decisions to ensure software meets program requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in software development using C, C++, and Java in real-time or embedded systems.
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and low-level software integration.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), version control, and configuration management practices.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles, including secure coding practices, automated builds, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary system environments, interfacing with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze/debug complex systems.
- U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proficiency with C# or C3 (depending on context of C3 environment-Command, Control, and Communications software or specific C3 programming tools).
- Experience developing safety-critical or mission-critical systems.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards (e.g., MISRA, CERT C/C++) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps toolchains (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, Coverity).
- Background in real-time embedded systems development and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with communication protocols, middleware, or distributed systems.
- Experience with space, defense, or aerospace software systems development.
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across systems, hardware, and test engineering teams.
- Active DoD security clearance highly preferred.
