From creating the home standby generator market category, to our current evolution into an energy technology solutions company, we continue to push new boundaries.We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician for our weekend shift at our Whitewater location. This position plays a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring all equipment and systems run efficiently and reliably.   • Support and service of production lines within the facility.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of production line equipment.
  • Seasonal external facility maintenance.
  • Waste management and simple routine facility maintenance.
  • Identifying parts and materials needed to perform duties.
  • Maintenance of 5S program.
  • Maintaining compliance with training programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience, or related instruction in maintaining industrial equipment, automation or product repair.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across departments.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to safely and proficiently perform maintenance and related activities of equipment, building, and grounds.
  • Ability to prioritize daily and weekly work assignments as needed.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO and NEC.
  • PIV training and certification.
  • Airial lift training and certification.
  • Knowledge of basic PC functions including Windows knowledge.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
