SummaryLeila Day is in search of a high energy, enthusiastic teacher assistant for our After School Program who is familiar with and/or willing to learn about outdoor education, art education, and working with young children in an after-school context.The hours are 2:30-5:30, additional subbing hours may well be availableDutiesAssistant Teachers will collaborate with the Lead Teacher in cultivating an environment of creativity, exploration, and joy while supporting the emergent ideas of young children and helping them learn and grow. In addition, Assistant Teachers will help the Lead Teacher manage the classroom, including, but not limited to playing and working with the children,classroom organization and cleanliness, and curriculum planning.
