Job Title:Production Scheduler (Asset Planner)Summary: Work with regional and cross-functional teams, drive planning, service, and inventory management improvements through effective execution to meet customer demand and growth objectives within Momentive supply chain. Accountable for production planning and scheduling, raw material planning and meeting customer demand.Responsibilities Include:Understand business strategy and requirements to support improvement projects per business needsFollow-up on execution (distressed orders, Production & replenishment planning, logistics concerns, Customer emergency……)Ensure planning is aligned with business demand global strategy to drive improvements.Identify and escalate PSI balances, cross-business-function-region concerns and mid/long-term country/regional allocation/analysis as neededEnforce service strategy decided by businessFocus on continuous improvement for production & replenishment strategy and local processes to drive planning service standardization in line with regional processes and policiesDrive S&OP processesIdentify, communicate and help problem solve with constrained planningMaster data maintenance and optimizationAble to solve complex problemsAttend Production Meetings and address daily and short term scheduling issues.Schedule in accordance with inventory targets/internal service requirements and Operational limitationsPlan/Manage Raw Materials and Cross Pole/Plant Requirements.Provide Weekly Plan and Raw Material Requirements based on agreed schedule with OperationsControl exception messages to continuously improve schedule Inventory ManagementDevelop optimal inventory targets for each step of the process based on demand.Manage Key Raw Materials InventoryDevelop stocking strategy for raw materials Update Safety Stock Requirements based on Supply/Demand and CapacityContinuous optimization of the existing schedule to get closest possible to the original customer RDDProvide on time service for internal customer requirementsKey Raw Materials - Develop and Execute Key Raw Material Supply Plans - Interaction with Procurement on Key Raw Material Sourcing StrategyTrack Capacity of AssetsWork Closely with Operations Team to manage costs and inventory to develop most optimal production strategy.Utilize systems (SAP, MiMi) to plan production by asset thru demand for orders, safety stock and forecastDrive continuous improvement within the systems for optimization and improved service, partner with COE for system optimization of MiMi and LTPCommunicate changes, delays and lead collaborative effort to resolve with both short term and long-term approachCreate firmed production plan for the planning time fence based on demand signals of FG warehouses and or direct demand signalsControl exception messages to continuously improve scheduleInventory Management- management of warranty, shelf-life materialMeet inventory level set at MRP controller levelBack Order ManagementContinuous optimization of the existing schedule to get closest possible to the original customer RDD.Execute and deliver a production schedule that support high service levels (OTIF), cost effectiveness and performance within production (POTIF) and asset optimizationAccountable to create a production plan for planning time fence (120 days)Accountable to manage Exception Messages, firming production plan to meet demand signals from warehouse, cancel process order if not needed and pull forward or delay firmed scheduleAccountable to follow up on non-executed schedule (Distressed Management)Accountable to minimize backordersAccountable to ensure adherence to SIOP policy and processesExecution of signals driven by daily MRP runEnsure inputs for planned production are ordered, available and ready to execute the production schedule publishedCompletes other duties as assignedTravel: Less than 10%Qualifications:The following are required for the roleBachelor's degree preferably in business, engineering, management, operations, or supply chain (could be finishing degree for spring of 2024)Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain role or internship in supply chainStrong analytical, decision and strategic thinking skills with an attention to detailDemonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders in a matrix environmentOutstanding interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization globally.Highly motivated and energetic with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrated project management and/or time management skillsThe following are preferred qualifications:Capability to coordinate cross countries team.Experience / working knowledge of silicones or chemical operationsWorking knowledge of SAP, Zemeter and advanced scheduling softwareAPICS and lean six sigma black belt certificationsPHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable.
