You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of products, processes, and services. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and leadership abilities will contribute to the overall success of the company's quality management efforts. This role follows a Pitman Schedule, which includes a rotating 12-hour pattern with every weekend off.QualificationsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage daily performance of QC staffResponsible for leading, motivating, and training QC personnel to meet or exceed department and company goals and objectivesLead or assist in Quality department projects as assigned by Management and assist Engineering and Manufacturing with projects, as appropriateInvestigate root cause of customer complaints and initiate/complete corrective action, as appropriatePropose, promote and champion actions to improve quality, processes and productEliminate process variation and product defects through creative solutionsMaintain ISO based quality systemsImplement and manage systems to complete statistical analyses and control of all products including raw materials, WIP materials, non-conforming products, and finished goodsEnsure customer requirements are metDevise ways to reduce waste and increase efficiencyActively drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives using all available tools and technologiesMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesParticipate in internal and external auditsDevelop and present KPI reportsPerform other duties as assignedSkillsAbility to work cross-functionallyEffective interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent time-management skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of teamStrong project management skillsKnowledge in working with Lean Manufacturing/JIT, Six Sigma methodologies and Total Quality fundamentalsProficient in ExcelTraitsDetail orientedExcellent mistake-proofing, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsEducation and/or ExperienceBachelors degree in STEM, related field, or equivalent work experience, required3+ years in Quality Assurance, required5 years in PV manufacturing or another PV-related field, preferredMinimum 2 years in Supervision/Management, requiredAdditional InformationCompensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $78,000 - $85,000 annually
  • Annual bonus eligibility of up to 10% of salary, dependent on company, department, and individual performance metrics
