- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
- Switches to nights once trained & based on seniority
- Manufactures specialty chemicals with strict attention to the quantities & procedures as indicated on the batch sheet
- Reports changes made to the batch sheet & records the batch yield. Follows lab procedures
- Conducts safe operation of plant equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, mixing tanks, reactors, pumps, homogenizers, vacuum pumps, etc.
- Performs manual labor that routinely requires the handling of drums weighing up to 600 lbs. & lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Works overtime as necessary to assure on-time delivery & operating needs
- Performs all functions necessary to assure on-time delivery and manufacture of quality product. This includes but is not limited to, troubleshooting of equipment & batches and communication with other departments to obtain resources needed, such as raw material & batch sheets
- Performs other tasks assigned by the the Team Leader Chemical Operator, Production Supervisor, Assistant Plant Manager, or other Site Manager
- Other duties that may be assigned
- 1-3 yrs. of chemical manufacturing experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of months forklift experience is preferred
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
