- Responsible for lab administrative recordkeeping, including maintaining employee records, assuring compliance to NDX HR policies and compliance with all applicable regulatory laws.
- Work closely with HRBP on all employee-related concerns. Submit all disciplinary action to HRBP for approval. Copy Regional General Manager.
- Perform New Hire Orientation. This includes completing I-9 verification, assisting new hires in completing necessary paperwork, conducting safety training, Kronos and UKG, and assisting in benefit administration.
- Assist the Regional General Manager with supporting various lab locations. Assist in supporting management of the labs, including the preparation of reports related to sales, labor, productivity, material usage and budget performance.
- Follow-up with accounts past due to ensure timely collection of monies due and that commitments are adhered to as well as manage the timely posting of cash to accounts and the reconciliation process.
- Follow the budget and compare it to monthly laboratory income statement, and research discrepancies. Review preliminary financial statements and discuss with Regional General Manager.
- Consult with Regional General Manager to devise action plans to achieve desired financial results.
- Assist and oversee administrative process of inventory tasks for multiple lab locations.
- Ensure laboratory compliance with OSHA regulations, including timely accident reporting and assurance that mandatory safety measures are being followed as well as manage the building/equipment maintenance and cleaning service. Safety Coordinator of laboratory, conduct safety check and chair safety committee meetings.
- Assist managers in reviewing and editing Kronos as needed
- Oversee planning of employee events.
- Assist team members with changes in UltiPro and password resets
- Performs other job-related duties as requested
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to effectively present information to team members and management team
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, as well as the ability to apply concepts of general business math.
- Intermediate skill sets in Microsoft Office products
- Accuracy and attention to detail is imperative
- Must maintain organization to successfully and timely complete the variety of tasks associated with this position.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or other related field, preferred,
- Minimum 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Office Equipment (Computer, Copier, Paper Cutter, etc.)
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach
- Ability to read and comprehend written communications
- Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail
- Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
