Delivering end-to-end design-build capabilities for elite facilities, Anchor Management Group specializing in Feasibility Studies, Master Planning, Engineering, Design-Build, Pre-Construction, and Construction Management services.The Accounting Clerk will be working from the Conshohocken office, reporting to the Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate is responsible for day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.Anchor Management Group is part of Tarkett Sports. Help us build the next world-class venue.What you’ll do:
  • Process vendor invoices, match with purchase orders, and ensure proper approvals.
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
  • Maintain accounts payable files and vendor records.
  • Create and send customer invoices in accordance with project contracts.
  • Track receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with lien waivers, W-9s, and other compliance documentation as required for construction projects.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment issues.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP and AR reconciliations.
  • Support the accounting team with special projects and audits as needed.
  • General office support and administrative duties including but not limited to acquisition of business licenses, office supply orders, office maintenance scheduling.
What you need for success:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable/payable,
  • Knowledge of construction billing (AIA forms, progress billing, retainage) preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
