
Accounting Clerk

- Process vendor invoices, match with purchase orders, and ensure proper approvals.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Maintain accounts payable files and vendor records.
- Create and send customer invoices in accordance with project contracts.
- Track receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist with lien waivers, W-9s, and other compliance documentation as required for construction projects.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment issues.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP and AR reconciliations.
- Support the accounting team with special projects and audits as needed.
- General office support and administrative duties including but not limited to acquisition of business licenses, office supply orders, office maintenance scheduling.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable/payable,
- Knowledge of construction billing (AIA forms, progress billing, retainage) preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
