This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests.As a member of the Accounting Team, this position compiles data and prepares invoices and bills for group guests and conferences.Our employees represent The Broadmoor brand and are Ambassadors of our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Responsible for the preparation of billings for group accounts, including logging, data entry, photocopying and mailing.
  • Reviews all group accounts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Verifies that correct billing information is received, and credit has been approved prior to processing.
  • Assists guest or group coordinator with guest inquiries and disputes and resolves them in a timely manner.
  • Attends pre-conference meetings when necessary.
  • Meets with clients at their request to review their bill.
  • Researches and submits adjustment amounts and notifies manager of any matters requiring additional assistance.
  • Coordinates and gathers all back up for billing general accounts and catered functions.
  • Ensures billing meets with client’s specifications.
  • Post payments and obtains collections on outstanding accounts.
  • Serves as the tax-exempt expert resolving all matters related to tax exemption.
  • Prepares monthly statements for mailing.
