Schedule:
  • Tues/Thurs, 8:00am-3:00pm (potential to act as sub other days of the week)
  • This opportunity runs into May (Summer 2025 and 2025-2026 school year are potential options to work)
  • High School, ELA and Math
  • ELA (Essay writing help)
  • Math (Algebra, Geometry; integrated Math 1-2)
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred
Hours:
  • 12+ hours per week, with the possibility of 15+ hours per week within 30 days by working additional virtual hours.
Pay:
  • $22 per hour standard
  • $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
  • $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor
In this role, you will:
  • Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
  • Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

  • You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
  • You have at least one year of student-related experience
  • You are detail-oriented and highly dependable

  • You have reliable transportation
  • You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
  • You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
