Job Output:Under the direction of the Millwood Maintenance Supervisor, this position maintains and repairs electrical equipment, process control systems and mechanical equipment/processes in a way that contributes to the continuous improvement of our Millwood, West Virginia plants' manufacturing processes and overall performance.Pay Scale ranges between $29.74-39.32 an hour depening upon skills and expereince.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Install, maintain, repair, and modify plant electrical and mechanical systems including pneumatic/hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, process controls, instrumentation power distribution equipment and plant HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve when mechanical or electrical issues arise in plant which includes making machinery adjustments, replacements, dismounts, welding repairs and equipment assembly to ensure safe, productive, and efficient operations
- Initiate, track, and complete plant electrical and mechanical project work to include new equipment installs.
- Perform required preventative/predictive mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment and systems; includes adjustments and calibration procedures for various industrial machines
- Perform basic programming, troubleshooting and upgrades on PLC systems including Allen Bradley and Wonderware
- Basic process network troubleshooting on Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet communication networks.
- Maintain, update, and troubleshoot advanced operator interface equipment
- Coordinate, update, and store plant drawings
- Assist with planning future equipment and system repairs
- Maintain written and/or electronic logs of highlights and issues occurring during shift
- Conduct daily safety risk assessments on routine and non-routine job tasks
- The qualified candidate will be working a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- High school diploma or its equivalent required.
- Two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in an electrical, mechanical, or multi-craft technical field is preferred.
- A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics
- Computer experience/operation and PLC troubleshooting/programming
- Basic rigging skills/experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
- Advanced PLC programming preferably Allen Bradley ControlLogix 5000.
- Advanced HMI design utilizing Wonderware and AB Panelview programming
- Advanced process network Ethernet/IP troubleshooting.
- Welding certifications or experience
- Experience with SAP work order management processes.
- Experience with Lean processes.
- Working in the heat and cold in a constantly wet environment
- Lifting to a maximum of 50lbs frequently
- Excessive daily walking and standing
- Frequent Climbing of Ladders and stairways are required
- Hot in the summer; cold in the winter - activities are heavily outside oriented.
- Potential for weather exposure - rain, snow, heat, wind
