In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.Expectations of a Cath Lab Nurse
  • Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients
  • Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations
  • Prepare instruments, equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Support physician with cath procedures
  • Medication administration and patient recovery
  • Passion for excellence in delivering quality care

QualificationsRequired Skills:
  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma.
  • One (1) or more years of nursing experience
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)(AHA) with skills demonstration
  • ACLS
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • One (1) or more years of experience in Cath Lab or ICU setting preferred
