- Develop, enhance, and optimize internal tools, processes, and services that empower The Trade Desk's business teams.
- Contribute to complex projects involving both frontend and backend components, collaborating with other engineers to deliver robust solutions.
- Maintain and improve the reliability, scalability, and compliance of our systems through high-quality code and automated testing.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for operational improvements and clearly communicate the impact of your work.
- Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, working closely to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, sharing feedback and best practices to help the team grow and maintain high standards.
- Take ownership of smaller projects or features, while supporting larger team initiatives led by senior engineers.
- Embrace opportunities to learn and grow by working on a diverse range of projects and technologies.
- You care deeply about improving the experience, tools, and processes of your business team colleagues.
- You drive innovative solutions while being sensitive to the current needs and realities of stakeholders.
- You can turn technically ambiguous requirements into concrete and thorough designs and execution plans.
- You have 4+ years of software development, engineering experience.
- You have a Bachelor's/Master's level degree in computer science or relevant engineering-related field or equivalent experience. Not everyone has the same level of access to opportunities. - You have additional nice-to-have experience in the following areas:
- Proficiency with C#, Typescript and React
- Developing applications and services using .NET
- Experience with CI/CD practices, including designing build pipelines and deploying microservices
- Familiarity with GraphQL and SQL
