- Design, implement. and validate control systems and automation technologies to operate vehicle navigation and control systems
- Design, test, and develop navigation and control algorithms using model-based design in Matlab/Simulink to be run on embedded real-time platforms
- Design global and local motion planners for safety-critical systems
- Design motion planners that can adapt global trajectories to local constraints
- Design and implement local trajectory optimization and time parameterization solutions
- Support solution deployment, customer handover, and ongoing support throughout the system lifecycle
- Research technological advancements for potential application to company business needs

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science
- 3-5+ years of experience working with Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems
- Experience in Model-based System Design in MATLAB/Simulink environment
- Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop innovative and novel approaches
- Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment or as an individual contributor
- U.S. Person (immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided)
- Fluent in both written and verbal English
- 3-5+ years of experience working with Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems for autonomous vehicles or platforms
- 1-2 years of software development with languages such as C, C++, or Python
- Experience with Modern and Optimal Control theory
- Experience with Search-Based Planners
- Experience with Model Predictive Control
- Experience with Reinforcement Learning
- Experience or coursework with Kalman Filter Design and Estimation Techniques
- Experience with code generation in Matlab / Simulink
