ResponsibilitiesAs a Wireline Telecom General Manager , you are responsible for all financial aspects of the Area’s operation. The GM is responsible for implementing and adhering to all Company policies and procedures. You are responsible for maintaining customer relationship, driving customer compliance, resource management and other key metrics. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.In addition, you will:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the overall construction and project management department.
- Develop processes and procedures to facilitate the successful completion of projects from start to finish.
- Directly oversee Construction Supervisors, Managers, Project Managers, programs to ensure projects are constructed as designed on budget, while constructing safely, with quality and on schedule.
- Assist in disputes on all projects, negotiating as required to resolve construction problems.
- Work with the OFS support team, back-office staff to ensure compliance with both internal, external reporting deadlines and financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare weekly revenue and cost reports.
- Manage material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Prioritization of projects based on customer needs, escalations, identifying resources needs and assignments.
- Evaluation of employee performance, job assignment, employee retention, employee career path, and development of your team’s skill set, and knowledge of the telecom industry.
- Interface with customers, vendors, subcontractors while identifying additional opportunities for market growth and sustainability.
- Driving a safety culture, SSO compliance, MVI, TRIR and DART metrics.
- You track new and completed work with a high level of quality.

- You have at least 5 years of progressively challenging leadership experience, preferably in a telecom construction environment
- You embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team and driving change when needed
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software
