Warehouse Associate (Part time)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage daily warehouse operations including loading/unloading trucks, organizing materials, and overseeing inventory flow.
Perform accurate material movement using forklift and other material handling equipment (must maintain current forklift certification).
Complete and document pre-operational inspections of forklift and related equipment.
Load and unload trucks according to load plans, ensuring accuracy, proper placement, and secure stacking.
Utilize Top Gun or similar systems to scan, track, and move inventory to appropriate bin or storage locations.
Ensure materials are staged and delivered to the appropriate machines according to production schedules.
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including execution of daily cleanup procedures.
Tend to the scrap baler as needed and ensure timely disposal of waste material.
Accurately count, label, and organize finished goods and raw materials to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
Coordinate with production and shipping departments to prioritize material flow and truck loading.
Communicate professionally with truck drivers, vendors, and team members to support smooth logistics operations.
Proactively identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or material shortages.
Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts as required.

Knowledge and Skills:

Warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
Proven ability to safely operate forklifts and manage warehouse workflows.
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, and continuous lifting.
Familiarity with basic math, measuring tools (e.g., tape measure), and inventory systems.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
