Our employees love the work they do each day because they see the difference they're making in people's lives!A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL:As a Lead DSP, you support people with disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. The Lead DSP has general responsibility for assisting the Program Manager with the general flow for the shift and day to day operation of residential facility. You support many areas of daily living with hands on support such as: medication administration, hygiene, grooming, shopping, meal preparation, and transportation as well as other community and employment skills as needed and any other assigned duties.You find it very rewarding to help people with disabilities lead self-fulfilling lives!QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Valid Driver's License and social security
  • Proficient in computer skills and able to type more than 70 WPM.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum one year experience working in a DDSN-related facility for a lead position
  • Ability to pass multiple background screenings to include:
  • Background check
  • DMV 3 year driving record
  • Medicaid Exclusion
  • Child Abuse/Sex Offender Registry
  • Fingerprint (SC resident less than one year)
  • 3 written professional references
