Caregivers at Senior Helpers are trained in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, in addition to other techniques and skills utilized in a home setting.As a companion driver with Senior Helpers you will:

Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable vehicle to transport client
  • Auto insurance
  • Excellent driving record
  • Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
  • Effective communication skills
  • Punctuality and reliability
The duties and responsibilities of a Senior Helpers companion Driver include:
  • Planning the most efficient routes to ensure timely pickup and drop-off of passengers
  • Following all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure the safety of all passengers
  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable vehicle environment
  • Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle
  • Keeping accurate records of mileage and any passenger issues
  • Communicating with passengers, their families, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • Handling any passenger concerns or emergencies calmly and efficiently
Requirements
  • Candidate must be 18 years or older to apply
  • Candidate must have their own vehicle
  • Candidate must have a valid driver license
  • Candidate must have auto insurance
  • Candidate must be willing to submit to a background check
